Radio Actuality News Service
Radio is the oldest electronic medium. Yet, even in this age
of the Internet, radio remains a powerful communications entity.
In many communities, radio serves as a primary source of news;
and station news directors welcome useful news releases with audio
actualities.
Focus on value to local news stations
We work closely with individual clients to assure their radio news
release holds value for local news operations. Our stories -- sometimes
called audio news releases -- consist of well-written scripts and two
to three substantial actualities (sound bites) from your spokesperson.
When reported by local announcers, the story attains local-announcer
credibility.
Getting your CEO, association president or company spokesperson
essentially "interviewed" on local stations and included in hometown
news programs carries tremendous impact with listeners. It means the
station news director judged the topic to be significant -- enhancing
the report's significance, compared to PSAs or filler info-commercials
that other radio news services distribute.
National and Regional Distribution
We distribute stories nationally and regionally via fax and/or e-mail
for the hard copy, with companion audio feeds set up on our web site
and an 888 phone service. Many stations prefer the web site, which
can provide them with in-person sound quality. We also follow distribution
of fax copy with personal "pitch" calls to key stations.
Measurable Results
To track usage, stations are asked for a "station ID" when
downloading or recording phone audio -- an original copyrighted
concept we developed. In regional distributions, we personally
call key stations after fax distribution to offer direct phone
feeds or a follow-up e-mail with the attached audio file. When
a project concludes, the client receives a detailed report
identifying the stations that broadcast the story.
To receive an information packet about our services with sample

personally, John Miller, APR, Director.
